First day of Benzac 5% treatment (acne)

I've used Benzac exactly twice now, I find that it doesn't sting my face at all. haha but it does cause your acne to have dry skin causing it too look flaky (cause the layer of skin has actually absorbed the acne and it's just a hard piece of skin now. I actually with out noticing scratched it off. And now my acne is flat but it is still red. But that success after only two applications. If you apply heaps like i do it leaves a noticeable chalky look.

How I use Benzac 5% (This may just be good for me, it's not for everyone)
1) Remove makeup with: Curash baby wipes (cheaper alternative works the same)
2) Cleanser (using clarisonic mia): Nivea visage gentle cleansing cream wash\
Night with: Biore blemish ice cleanser (salicylic acid)
3) My toner night and day: Biroe triple action toner (salicylic acid)
4) Benzac: Apply a THICK layer to affected areas
5) Moisturiser: Day: apply after Benzac gel is dry Neutrogena healthy defence daily moisturiser 30+ spf (combination/oily skin)
Night:apply after benzac is dry Estee lauder nutritious restorative night creme
6) Eye cream: nude by nature, natures soothing eye cream ( more like a gel)
7) Then ready for further steps e,g makeup.
